Towards an effective educational curriculum for the Algerian education system

Abstract

This study aims to provide suggestions regarding the appropriate educational curriculum for the Algerian educational system. It begins by presenting the historical stages that the system's reform has undergone, along with a review of criticisms made by education specialists. The study has yielded several important results: firstly, it emphasizes that educational reform is an urgent necessity to ensure that educational curricula align with the advancements of the times; secondly, it acknowledges that educational reform in Algeria has its advantages and disadvantages. Finally, the study highlights that an effective educational curriculum within the Algerian system should encourage learners to imagine, think critically, analyze, and anticipate the future.
